Home Stay/ Transient house avialble daily, weekly and monthly basis;

Many people who come to Coron especially big groups usually look for a transient house instead of a hotel, pensions or an inn. There is the usual notion that transient house is cheap and "everything is there" (do it your self)meaning you can cook on you pref. ect... Only few avialable around here and these are usually rented out to take advantage of the influx of tourists coming to Coron town especially during summer.

Our house can accommodate groups of family minimum of 15 to a maximum of 21 persons. This units can prove to be very economical especially for those groups who are big in number yet very tight on the budget. It has four bedrooms. Two bedrooms underground with large living room (1cr/common bathroom). Two bedrooms ground floor with spacious sala and large kitchen (1cr/common bathroom) additional foam and beddings available.

Homestay in Coron

Sitio Lili-on offer a Home-stay program it’s a living arrangement with a host family who offers an extra private guestroom or space for an outbound or local travelers. Experience traditional lifestyle, open air/ alfresco accommodations and treat yourself to live in a fishing village (sitio Lili-on brgy. Lajala) and get a change to explore around the Island by using the local paddle boat nearby. Be "adopted" by a family and be treated as a member of the family for the duration of your stay. Reef Walk/ Helmet Dive Coron, Palawan

Reef Walk or Helmet Dive is a new one of the water activities you can do in Coron,Palawan. It’s 25 minute underwater adventure that gives you an opportunity to walk on sand about 15-20 ft underwater and feed the fish. We will ferry you by an outrigger boat from the shore and brought to the location few minutes away (5 to 10 minutes). A diver will orient you of how to use the Helmet where your oxygen will be from, how you will go down and up, as well as hand signals needed. It costs about P1,800 per person (minimum of 5paying guest) cost of photography with a CD inclusive of the rates.

The guide said that it's pretty safe even for non-swimmers (like me!) because we'll just have to breathe normally and that the water will not get inside our helmet. What's important is we equalize the pressure as we get lower into the sea. It's the same pressure that you feel when you're on a plane.
There's three ways to equalize the pressure: first is just by swallowing normally, second is by moving the jaw, and lastly (if the first two doesn't work) is placing your hand inside the helmet, pinching your nose and sneezing with your mouth closed. You will then hear a pop in your ears.
